JESUS AS LORD:

There are two words for Lord in the Greek- kurios meaning ownership, power over, controller, belonging to the Lord and despotes meaning absolute ruler, master, possessor of supreme authority.

  5. Lord of wind and waves-Matthew 8:27

  6. Lord of resurrection-John 5:21

  7. Lord of sickness-Matthew 8:16

  8. Lord of heaven and earth-Matthew 18:18

  9. Lord of salvation-Acts 2:21

  10. Lord of the Word-Acts 8:25

  11. Lord of living and dead-Romans 14:9

  12. Lord of glory-I Corinthians 2:8

  13. Lord of Supper and Table-I Corinthians 11:20-21

  14. Lord of death, sin and grave-I Corinthians 15:55-57

  15. Lord of beginning and ending, the first and last-Revelations 1:8

  16. Lord God-John20:28

  17. Lord of all-Acts 10:36

  18. Lord of Lords-Revelation 17:14; 19:16; I Timothy 6:15

  19. Worthy is the Lamb to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing-Revelation 5:11-14

  21. “Not everyone that saith Lord, Lord but he that doeth the will of my Father.”-Matthew 7:21-23

  22. Confess that Jesus is Lord-Romans 10:9

FAMILY:

Mates

  1. “Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.”-Ephesians 5:24

  2. “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it.”-Ephesians 5:25

  3. “Sought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.”-Ephesians 5:28

  4. “Wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands as it is fit in the Lord.”-Colossians 3:18

Body of Christ
