GOSPEL ACCOUNTS:
- Matthew 4:23-24
"And Jesus went about all Galilee,
teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the
kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of
disease among the the people. And his fame went throughout all
Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken
with divers diseases and torments, and those which were
possessed with demons, and those which were lunatic, and those
that had the palsy; and he healed them."

"And when Jesus was entered into
Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, and
saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy,
grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and
heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy
that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only,
and my servant shall be healed. And Jesus said unto the
centurion, Go thy way; and as thou has believed, so be it done
unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour."

house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. And
he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and

turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of

made whole from that house."

not many mighty works there because of their unbelief."

sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by,

our eyes may be opened. So Jesus had compassion on them, and
touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight,
and they followed him."
- Matthew 21:14 "And the blind and the lame came to him
in the temple; and he healed them."
- Matthew 28:18-20 "And Jesus came and spake unto them,
saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye
therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them
to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo,

- Mark 1:29-31 "And forth with, when they were come out
of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and
Andrew, with James and John. But Simon's wife's mother lay sick
of a fever, and anon they tell him of her. And he came and took
her by the hand, and lifted her up: and immediately the fever
left her, and she ministered unto them."

brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were
possessed with demons. And all the city was gathered together at
the door. And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases,
and cast out many demons, and suffered not the demons to speak,
because they knew him."

beseeching him, knelling down to him, and saying unto him, If
thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with
compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto

immediately the leprosy departed form him, and he was
cleansed..."
- Mark 2:1-12 "And again he entered into Capernaum
after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And
straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was
no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and
he preached the word unto them. And they come unto him, bringing
one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they
could not come night unto him for the press, they uncovered the
roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down
the bed wherein the sick of palsy lay. When Jesus saw their
faith, he said unto the sick of palsy, Son, they sins be
forgiven thee...Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins
be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up they bed, and
walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on
earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I
say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed and go thy way into
thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went
forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and
glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion."
- Mark 3:1-6 "And he entered again into the synagogue;
and there was a man there which had a withered hand...And he
said unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth...And
when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved
for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch
forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was
restored whole as the other."

they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many had plagues. And
unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and
cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God. And he straitly charged
them that they should not make him known."
- Mark 5:21-24, 35-43 "And behold, there cometh one of
the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw
him, he fell at his feet, and besought him greatly, saying, My
little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come
and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall
live. And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and
thronged him...While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of
the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead:
Why troublest thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus
heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the
synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe...And he took the damsel
by the hand, and said unto her, Tabitha cumi; which is, being
interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee arise. And straightway the
damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve
years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment..."
- Mark 5:25-34 "And a certain woman, which had an issue
of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many
physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing
bettered, but rather grew worse. When she had heard of Jesus,
came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said,
If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And
straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt
in her body that she was healed of that plague...And he said
unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace,
and be whole of thy plague."

not without honor, but in his own country, and among his own
kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work,
save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed
them. And he marveled because of their unbelief..."

- Mark 6:12-13 "And they(Twelve)went out, and preached
that men should repent. And they cast out many demons, and
anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them."

ship, straightway they knew him, and ran through that whole
region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that
were sick, where they heard he was. And whithersoever he
entered, into villages or cities, or country, they laid the sick
in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it
were by the border of his garment: and as many as touched him
were made whole."
- Mark 7:24-30 "And from thence he arose, and went into
the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house and
would have not man know it: but he could not be hid. For a
certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard
of him, and came and fell at his feet: The woman was a Greek, a
Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast
forth the demon out of her daughter...And he said unto her, For
this saying go thy way; the demon is gone out of thy daughter.
And when she was come to her house, she found the demon gone
out, and her daughter laid upon the bed."

deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him
to put his hand upon him. And he took him aside from the
multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit and

his ears were, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he

hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and
the dumb to speak.""
- Mark 8:22 "And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring
a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. And he took
the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when
he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked
him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as
trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes,
and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man
clearly..."
- Mark 9:17-27 "And one of the multitude answered and
said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb
spirit; And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he
foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I
spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they
could not. He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation,
how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring
him unto me. And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him,
straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and
wallowed foaming. And he asked his father, How long is it ago
since this came unto him? And he said, of a child. And ofttimes
it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy
him: but if you canst do anything, have compassion on us, and
help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things
are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father
of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe:
help thou mine unbelief. When Jesus saw that the people came
running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him,
Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and
enter no more into him. And the spirit cried, and rent him sore,
and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many
said, He is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him
up; and he arose."

but by prayer and fasting."

garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said
unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind
man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And
Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; they faith hath made thee
whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus
in the way."

the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that
believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth
not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that
believer; In my name shall they cast out demons; they shall
speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they
drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay
hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the
Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and
sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth and preached
every where the Lord working with them, and confirming the word
with signs following."

because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he
hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at
liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of
the Lord."

place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed
him, that he should not depart from them. And he said unto them,
I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also; for
therefore am I sent. And he preached in the synagogues of
Galilee."

certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus
fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt,
thou canst make me clean. And he put forth his hand, and touched
him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy
departed from him. And he charged him to tell no man: but go,
and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing,
according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them."

law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee,
and Judea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present
to heal them."

which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him
in, and to lay him before him. And when they could not find by
what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they
went upon the house top, and let him down through the tiling
with his couch into the midst before Jesus. And when he saw
their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven
thee...What reason ye in your hearts? Whether is easier, to say,
Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? But that
ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive
sins,(he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee,
Arise and take up they couch, and go into thine house. And
immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he

that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the
deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is

neither could be healed of any, came behind him, and touched the
border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood
stanched...And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came

before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and
how she was healed immediately. And he said, unto her, Daughter,

rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather

this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound,

the glorious things that were done by him.

Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and

ten men and were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted
up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And

the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were
cleansed. And one of them when he saw that he was healed, turned
back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his
face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And
Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? But where are
the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to
God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go they
way: thy faith hath made thee whole."

the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then fist after the
troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whosoever

unto, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him,
Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into

walked: and on the same day was the sabbath...Afterward Jesus

Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who
is he, Lord, that I might believer on him? And Jesus said unto
him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with

for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were
filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto
him."
