EPHESIAN 4 EQUIPPERS


 

  1. Apostles translate vision into strategy for planting churches.

  2. Apostles are uniquely called and gifted to translate God’s prophetic voice into practical strategies for accomplishing what the prophets are hearing.

  3. Apostles are about strategy and architecture.

  4. Apostles have a sense of God’s strategies for accomplishing His Kingdom purposes.

  5. Apostles have strategies for accomplishing God’s purpose.

  6. Prophets hear God’s heart for people and places.

  7. Prophets are uniquely called and gifted to hear from God regarding His heart and purposes for people.

  8. Prophets hear clearly and have insight into God’s heart.

  9. Prophets have a sense of God’s prophetic heart for His people.

  10. Prophets are about vision.

  11. Prophets have spiritual insight into God’s heart.

  12. Teachers look for understanding by digging deep into God’s word in order to explain God’s plan as He reveals it to the apostle and prophets.

  13. Teachers explain and expound on the biblical basis for what God is saying through the apostles and prophets.

  14. Teachers explain foundations, for they are explainers and apologists of the body.

  15. Evangelists are the gatherers of stray sheep.

  16. The evangelist’s passion is to bring large numbers of sheep.

  17. The evangelist is about encouraging the church to turn outward in its thinking.

  18. The evangelists want to see as many people brought into and involved with the church as possible.

  19. Pastors/elders are shepherds, people who simply love sheep.

  20. Pastors/elders are relational people who want to spend time with the sheep.

  21. Pastors/elders are all about meeting the needs of the sheep.

  22. Pastors/elders are the counselors of the wounded and needy.

  23. Pastors/elders are the team builders who bring the body together.

  24. Pastors/elders are the family founders who want to see the body function together as an extended family.

  25. Pastors/Elders are people of age, wisdom and maturity who know and understand the needs of their particular church families.

  26. Pastors/Elders are to oversee the life, the functioning and the administration of the church.

  27. Pastors/Elder’s responsibility is to feed and tend the flock.

  28. Deacons are people of service and compassion.

  29. Deacons are the organizers and need assessors of the body.

  30. Deacon’s role is to identify and know the needs of the church and to communicate those needs to the rest of the leadership.

  31. Deacons are uniquely and powerfully gifted servants of the body who work closely with the apostles and elders to see that the physical needs of the body are met.
