I. How Important Is The Word Of God In My Life?

1. Isaiah 55:3 “Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live.”

2. Psalms 1:2 “Delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

3. Psalms 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against Thee.”

4. Isaiah 55:11 “Word will not return unto Me void.”

5. John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

6. John 8:32 “Ye shall know the truth and the truth will make you free.”

7. Romans 10:17 “Faith cometh by hearing the word of God.”

8. I Peter 1:17 “Born again by the word of God…grow…long for…word endureth forever.”

II. What Is It That Keeps Me From God’s Word?

1. Matthew 4:4 Lack of commitment! “Man shall not live by bread alone.”

2. Ephesians 5:16 Poor use of time! “Redeeming the time.”

3. Psalm 119:11 Sin! “Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against Thee.”

III. What Kind Of Attitude Should I Have Toward The Word Of God?

1. Psalms 119:97 “O how I love thy law.”

2. Simple obedience is the most profound obedience!

II Timothy 2:2 “The things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”
