  54. Acts 16:16-18 “And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days, But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.”

  55. Acts 19:11-12 “And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick(astheneo) handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.”

  56. Acts 28:8-9 “And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick(katecho) of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him. So when this was done, others also, which had diseases(astheneia) in the island, came, and were healed:”

  57. Romans 8:26 “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities(asthenia): for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

  58. Romans 15:1We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities (asthemia) of the weak, and not to please ourselves.”

  59. I Corinthians 11:29-30 “For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation(krima=judgment, condemnation) to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly (urrhostos) among you, and many sleep.”

  60. II Corinthians 11:30 “If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities(astheneia).”

  61. II Corinthians 12:4-10 “How he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities(astheneia), that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities (astheneia).

  62. Galatians 4:13-14 “Ye know how through infirmity(astheneia) of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first. And my temptation(peirasmos = trial, proof) which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? For I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.”

  63. Philippians 2:25-30 “Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labor, and fellow solder, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants. For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick(astheneo). For indeed he was sick(astheneo) nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful. Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation: Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.”

  64. I Timothy 5:23Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities(astheneia).”

  65. II Timothy 4:20 “Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick(astheneo).”

  66. Hebrews 4:15 “For we have not an hight priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities(astheneia); but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefor come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

  67. Hebrews 5:2 “Who(Jewish high priest)can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity(astheneia).”

  68. Hebrews 7:28 “For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity(astheneia); but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.”

  69. James 5:14 “Is any sick(astheneo) among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick(kamno), and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

  70. Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

  71. Revelation 22:3-5 “And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever.”
