MAN/SON OF PEACE PRINCIPLE

II.  Definition:

1.   Son of Peace(Luke 10:6-Seventy two by two) son of(hulos=son, man, descendent, offspring) peace(eirene=unity, concord, peaceful, loves peace, good will, deserving a blessing).

2.   Men of good will(Luke 2:14-Angels to shepherds) men(anthropos=a  man, a human being)of good will(eudokia=good pleasure).

3.  Just and devout(Luke 2:25-Simeon) just()and devout(eulabes=taking or receiving well)

4.  Just man(Matthew 1:19-Joseph) dikaios=just righteous

5.  Devout(Acts 2:5-Jerusalem Jews; 8:2-carried Stephen) devout(eulabes=taking or receiving well, devout); Acts 10:2-Cornelius; Acts 10: 7-Corneluis; Acts 13:50-women; Acts 17:4-women, Acts 17:17-Jews; Acts 22:12-Ananias) devout(eusebes=reverential, to worship, be devout)

6.  Just and holy(Mark 6:20-John the Baptist) just(dikaios=just righteous)  holy (hagios = separate, set apart, holy)

7.  Good man and a just man(Luke 23:50-Joseph) good(agathos=good)  just(dikaios=righteous, just)

8.  Worthy(Matthew 10:11-Seventy sent out) worthy(axios=worthy,  deserving, merited)

III.  Principles(“Twelve” and “Seventy” sent out ones)

1.  Jesus appointed(anadeiknumi=to show, point out) them!

2.  Jesus sent(apostello=to send away or forth) forth!

3.  Two by/and two!

4.   Before His face(prosopon=face) into every city and place whither He himself would come!

5.  The harvest truly is great!

6.  The laborers(ergates=workers) are few(oligos=little, few)!

7.  Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth(ekballo=to case out) laborers into his harvest!

8.  Go your ways!

9.  Jesus commanded them!

10.  I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

  11.  Preach: The kingdom of heaven is at hand!

  12.  Say: The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you

  13.  Power and authority to heal the sick!

  14.  Heal the sick!

  15.  Cleanse the lepers!

  16.  Raise the dead!

  17.  Cast out demons!

  18.  Power over unclean spirits!

  19.  Power and authority over all demons!

  20.  Freely ye have received, freely give!

  21.  Salute(embrace, draw together) no man by the way!

22. Provide(ktaomai=to acquire, prepare, possess) neither gold, silver, brass for your purses!

  23.  No money in the purse!

  24.  No scrip(bag or satchel) for your journey!

  25.  No purse!

  26.  No bread!

  27.  Neither two coats, shoes, nor staves!

  28.  Shod with sandals!

  29.  One coat!

  30.  One staff only!

  31.  Enter the city or town!

  32.  Inquire who in it is worthy(axios=deserving, merited, worthy)!

  33.  If the son of peace be there!

  34.  Enter into an house!

  35.  Abide till you go thence!

  36.  In same house remain!

  37.  Go NOT from house to house!

  38.  Eating and drinking such things as they give!

  39.  Eat such things as are set before you!

  40.  For the laborer is worthy of his hire!

  41.  Abide till ye depart from that place!

  42.  When ye come into an house, salute it!

  43.  If the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it!

  44.  Say peace be to this house!

  45.  If the house be not worthy, let your peace return to you!

46. Whosoever shall NOT receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

47. Even the very dust of the city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you!

48. Not withstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you!

  49.  The 70 returned again with joy!

  50.  Saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us through thy name!

  51.  Jesus: I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven!

  52.  Jesus: I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions!

  53.  Jesus: I give you power over all the power of the enemy!

  54.  Jesus: Nothing shall be any means hurt you!

55. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not (concerning demons), that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven!
