  59. Hebrews 4:14 “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens (ouranoi), Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.”

  60. Hebrews 7:26 “For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens (ouranoi);”

  61. Hebrews 8:1, 5 “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of Majesty in the heavens (ouranoi); Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly (epourania) things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.”

  62. Hebrews 9:23-24 “It was therefore necessary the the patterns of things in the heavens (ouranoi) should be purified with these; but the heavenly (epourania) things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven (ouranos) itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:”

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven (ouranos): Whose voice then shook, the earth: but now he hath promised saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven (ouranos). And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, and those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God, acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.”

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens (ouranoi) shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for the hasting unto the coming of the day of God, where in the heavens (ouranoi) being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?”

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven (ouranos), and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven (ouranos), and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:”

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven (ouranos), and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And there was war in heaven (ouranos): Michael and his angels fought against the dragon: and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven (ouranos). And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven (ouranos), Now is come salvation, and strength and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And I heard a voice from heaven (ouranos) saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven (ouranos), he also having a sharp sickle.”
