PRAYER OF JABEZ

I Chronicles 4:9-10

V9: “Jabez was more honorable than his brothers.  His mother had named him Jabez, saying, ‘I gave birth to him in pain.’

V10: “And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying,

          a. ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed,

       b.  and enlarge my territory, 

         c.  and that your hand would be with me,

   d.  and that you would keep me from evil,         that I may not cause pain.’ 

And God granted his request.”
