RESTORING HEARTS

 

The Hebrew word for turn is shub meaning to turn back or to restore relationship.

 

The Greek word for turn is epistrepho meaning to turn unto or to restore relationship

 

The Hebrew word for parents is aboth meaning ancestors.  Note: in the Hebrew culture, the ancestral line was through the fathers.  Thus the King James translation uses the word “fathers.”

 

The Greek word for parents is pateres meaning ancestors.  Again, the King James translation uses the word “fathers.”
