RIVER, WATER

1.     Genesis 2:10 “And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.  The name of the first river is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold...And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia...And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria...And the fourth river is Euphrates...”

2.     Genesis 41:1f “And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharoah dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river...And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Phaaraoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do...

3.     Daniel 8:1f “And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai...Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold there stood before the river a ram which had two horns...There stood before me as the appearance of a man.  And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel make this man to understand the vision...And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days...”

4.     Psalm 46:4 “There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, and holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.”

5.     Psalm 65:9 “Thou visitest the earth, and aterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water...”

6.     Isaiah 30:25 “And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of water in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall...”

7.     Isaiah 32:2 “And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.”

8.     Isaiah 44:3 “For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offering:”

9.     Lamentations 3:48 “Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.”

10.                         John 4:14 “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

11.                         John 7:38 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.  (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.”

12.                         Revelation 22:1 “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”

13.                         Revelation 22:2 “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
