ALTAR (Vessels, Laver)

“And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, thou shalt anoint (oil) it, to sanctify it.” (Exodus 29:36)

“And thou shalt anoint (oil) the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.” (Exodus 40:10)

“And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed (oil) the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.” (Leviticus 8:11)

“And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed (oil), even the princes offered their offering before the altar.” (Numbers 7:10)

“This was the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed (oil), by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:” (Numbers 7:84)

“And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings were twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty.  This was the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed (oil)” (Numbers 7:88)

 

GARMENTS 

“And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.” (Leviticus 8:30)

 

LAVER

“And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.” (Exodus 40:11)

 

PILLARS

“I am the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst (oil) the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.” (Genesis 31:13)

 

POSTS

“And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt.  And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.  For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.” (Exodus 12:7, 22-23)

 

TABERNACLE (Ark, Table, Vessels, Candlestick, Altars, Vessels, Laver)

“And thou shalt anoint (oil) the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony, and the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels and the altar of incense, and the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot” (Exodus 30:26)

“And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.  And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.  And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.” (40:9-11)

“And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them. And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them. ” (Leviticus 8:10-11)

“And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;” (Numbers 7:1)

 

 WAFERS

“And unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of wheaten flour shalt thou make them.” (Exodus 29:2)

 “And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.” (Leviticus 2:4)

 “If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.” (Leviticus 7:12)

“And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings.” (Numbers 6:15)
