(FOR PERILOUS TIMES AHEAD)

SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION

Matthew 24:44, 50 (Larger Passage 24:1-51) “Therefore be ye also ready (hetoimos = prepared, ready; from root word hetos meaning fitness): for in such an hour (hora = day, hour, instant, season, time) as ye think (dokeo = to think, seem, be accounted, suppose) not the Son of man cometh (erchomai = appear, to come,).  The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not (prosdokao = to anticipate, to await, look for) for him, and in an hour that he is not aware (ginosko = to know, be aware, perceive, be sure, understand).”

Matthew 25:13 (Larger Passage 25:1-13) “Watch (gregoreua = to keep awake, watch, watchful, be vigilant, to rouse from sleep, lying, sitting, inactivity) therefore, for ye know (eido to see, to know, perceive, be sure, see, understand, observation, to gaze with wide open eyes, inspection) neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” (Larger Passage Matthew 25:1-13)

Genesis 41:34-36 (Larger Passage Genesis 41:1-57) Joseph: “Let Pharaoh do this…gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.  An the food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.”

AN URGENT WORD

The Lord has strongly ministered in my spirit that the time is past for us to just talk in “generalities” and to urgently talk in “specifics” about the need to immediately prepare for the troubled times that are soon approaching.

In my personal contacts throughout the world, Christians with “on the ground information” are speaking loudly and clearly concerning the signs and the imminence of chaotic world events, and the urgency with which we should be preparing.

Take therefore no thought (merimnao= to be over anxious, have care, distraction) for the morrow (aurion = tomorrow, next day): for the morrow (same) shall take thought (same) for the things of itself.  Sufficient unto the day (arketos = satisfactory, enough, suffice, raising a barrier, ward off, be content, be enough, suffice) is the evil (kakia = depravity, malignity, trouble, evil, wickedness) thereof.”

Luke 21:28 “And when these things (touton = concerning these persons or things, such things) begin to (archomai = to commence, in order of time) come to pass (ginomai = to cause to be, to become, come into being, brought to pass, fulfilled), then look up (anakupto = look up, unbend, be elated), and lift up (anakupto = same) your heads (kephale = head); for your redemption (apolutrosis = ransom in full, salvation, deliverance, redemption, a redemption price, separation, departure, loosen with, completion) draweth nigh (eggizo = to make near, approach, be at hand, draw near, ready).”

Proverbs 3:5Trust in (batach = to trust, be bold, confident, secure, sure, put confidence, flee for protection and refuge, confide in) the Lord (yehovah = self- Existent or Eternal, Lord, Jehovah) with all (kol kol = the whole, all, any, every, whole, whatsoever, whosoever) thine heart (leb = heart, feelings, will, intellect, centre of anything, consent, understanding, complete); and lean not unto (shaan = lean, lie, rely, rest, stay ) thine own understanding (biynah = understanding, knowledge, wisdom, to separate mentally, distinguish, consider, discern, thinking, view).  In all thy ways (kol kol = the whole, all, any, every, altogether, every one, place, thing, complete, as many as, whatsoever) acknowledge him (yada = know, observation, recognition, acknowledge, be aware, perceive, be sure, surety), and he shall direct (yashar = straight, even, right, pleasant, prosperous, direct, upright) thy paths. (orach = well-trodden road, path, highway, way)”

I Kings 17:2-6 “And the word of the Lord came unto him (Elijah) saying, Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook of Chrith, that is before Jordan.  And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.”

I Kings 17:7-9 (Larger Passage 17:7-24) “And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.  And the word of the Lord came unto him (Elijah), saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.”
