JUSTIFICATION

Just endikos (adjective) just, righteous, presupposes that which has been decided righteously, which leads to the just sentence.

Justificationdikaioma (noun) an equitable deed, by implication a statute or decision, a sentence of acquittal by which God acquits men of their guilt, on the conditions of His grace in Christ, through His expiatory sacrifice, the acceptance of Christ by faith; root word from dikaioo to render, that is to show or regard as, just or innocent, free, justify, be righteous; root word from dikaios equitable in character or act, by implication innocent, holy, just, right; root word from dike right, as self-evident, that is justice, the principle, a decision, or its execution; from root word deiknuo a prolonged form of an obsolete primary of the same meaning, to show, literally or figuratively.

Justified dikaios (adjective) from root word dike, custom, rule, right, especially in the fulfillment of duties towards God and men, and of things that were in accordance with right.  In the New Testament, it denote the act of pronouncing righteous, justification, acquittal state of being right, or right conduct, judged whether by the Divine standard, or according to human standards of what is right.

Justifydikaioo (verb) to make or declare right; to render, that is to show or regard as just or innocent, free, justify, be righteous, signifying the establishment of a person as just by acquittal from guilt. root word from dikaios equitable in character or act, by implication innocent, holy, just, right; root word from dike right, as self-evident, that is justice, the principle, a decision or its execution; from root word deiknuo a prolonged form of an obsolete primary of the same meaning, to show, literally or figuratively.

Justifierdikaioo (present participle of the verb, literally justifying) to make or declare right.

SCRIPTURE:

Acts 13:39 “And by him all that believe are justified (dikaios) from all things, from which ye could not be justified (dikaios) by the Law of Moses.”

Romans 2:13 “For not the hearers of the law are just (endikos) before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified (dikaios).”

Romans 3:4 “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, that thou mightiest be justified (dikaios) in thy sayings, and mightiest overcome when thou art judged.”

Romans 3:8 “And not rather, as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say, Let us do evil, that good may come?  Whose damnation is just (endikos).”

Romans 3:20 “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified (dikaios) in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

Romans 3:26 “To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just (endikos), and the justifier (dikaioo) of him which believeth in Jesus.”

Romans 3:28 “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified (dikaios) by faith without the deeds of the law.”

Romans 3:30-31 “Seeing it is one God, which shall justify (dikaioo) the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.  Do we then make void the law through faith?  God forbid: yea, we establish the law.”

Romans 4:2-3 “For if Abraham were justified (dikaios) by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.  For what saith the scripture?  Abram believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.”

Romans 4:4-5 “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.  But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth (dikaioo) the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

Romans 4:23-25 “Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification (dikaioma).”

Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified (dikaios) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:”

Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified (dikaios) by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

Romans 5:16 “And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification (dikaioma).”

Romans 5:18 “Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification (dikaioma) of life.”

Romans 8:30 “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified (dikaios): and whom he justified (dikaios), them he also glorified.”

Romans 8:33 “Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect?  It is God that justifieth (dikaioo).”

I Corinthians 4:4 “For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified (dikaios): but he that judgeth me is the Lord.”

I Corinthians 6:11 “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified (dikaios) in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of or our God.”

Galatians 2:16 “Knowing that a man is not justified (dikaios) by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified (dikaios) by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified (dikaios).”

Galatians 2:17 “But if, while we seek to be justified (dikaios) by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin?  God forbid.”

Galatians 3:8 “And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify (dikaioo) the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, in thee shall all nations be blessed.”

Galatians 3:11 “But that no man is justified (dikaios) by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, the just (endikos) shall live by faith.”

Galatians 3:24 “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ that we might be justified (dikaios) by faith.”

Galatians 5:4 “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified (dikaios) by the law; ye are fallen from grace.”

I Timothy 3:16 “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified (dikaios) in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”

Titus 3:7 “That being justified (dikaios) by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

Hebrews 2:2-4 “For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just (endikos) recompense of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with diverse miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?”

James 2:15-20 “If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead (faith), being alone.  Yea, a man may say, thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the demons also believe, and tremble.  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead (faith)?”

James 2:21-26 “Was not Abraham our father justified (dikaios) by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?  Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect:  And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.  Ye see then how that by works a man is justified (dikaios), and not by faith only.  Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified (dikaios) by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
