Matthew 10:16-20 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.  But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; and ye shall be brought before governors, and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.  But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what he shall speak.  For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.”

Mark 13:9-11 “But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.  And the gospel must first be published among all nations.  But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.”

Luke 21:12-13 “But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.  And it shall turn to you for a testimony.  Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries          shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.”

I Corinthians 1:4-6 “I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; that in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: so that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

II Thessalonians 1:10 “When He shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.”
