SPIRITS OF GOD

Isaiah 11:1-4

“And there shall come forth (yatsa bring forth, shoot forth, spring out) a rod (choter twig, rod) out of the stem (min minniy minney a part of, from out of; From root word, geza to cut down, trunk, stump of a tree, stem, stock) of Jesse (yisha ‘ryshay Jeshai, David’s father: Jesse), and a Branch (metser greenness, a shoot, descendant, branch) shall grow (parah bear fruit, bring forth fruit, fruitful, grow, increase) out of (min minniy minney from or out of) his roots (sheresh a root):

And the 1) spirit (ruach wind, breath, life, spirit) of the Lord  (yehovah the self-Existent, eternal; Jewish national name of God, Jehovah, the Lord ) shall rest (nauch to rest, settle down, dwell, remain) upon him (‘al upon, with), 2) the spirit (ruach same as above) of wisdom (chokmah wisdom, wisely, skillful) and 3) understanding (biynah understanding, knowledge, wisdom, perfectly), 4) the spirit (rauch same as above) of counsel  (‘etsah advice, plan, prudence, counsel, purpose) and 5) might (geburah force, valor, victory, might, power, strength), the 6) spirit (rauch same as above) of knowledge (da’th knowledge, know, cunning, aware ) and 7) of the fear (yir’ah fear, reverence, exceedingly) of the Lord (yehovah self-Existent or eternal; Jewish national name of God, Jehovah, Lord);

And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.  And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.”

 

Zechariah 4:8-10 “Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.  For who hath despised the day of small things?  For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven (sheba’ shib’ah a primitive cardinal number; seven; as the sacred full one); they are the eyes (‘ayin an eye) of the Lord (yehovah the self-Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God) which run to and from (shut run to and fro; to push forth; go) through the whole (kol kol the whole, hence all, altogether) earth (‘erets the earth, land, ground, nations, world).”

 

Zechariah 6:5 “Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four (‘arba ‘arba ah four) spirits (ruach wind, breath, spirit) of the heavens (shamayim shameh to be lofty; sky as aloft; visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the celestial bodies), which go (yatsa to go) forth (min minniy minney from or out of) from standing (yatsab to place, to stay, station, stand) before (‘al before, beside, from, with) the Lord (‘adon ‘adon to rule, sovereign, Lord, master) of all (kol kol thewhole, all, altogether, every place) the earth (‘erets the earth, land, ground, nations,world).”

 

Revelation 1:4 “John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from his which is, and which was, and which is to come (ho on ho en ho erchomenos the one being and the one that was and the one coming, that is, the Eternal, as a divine epithet of Christ; which is, and which was, and is to come); and from (apo off, away, denotes, separation, departure) the seven (hepta seven) Spirits (pneuma breath, spirit, Holy Spirit) which (hos he ho who) are before (enopion in the face of, before,in the presence of) his throne (thronos stately seat, throne, by implication power, a potentate);”

 

Revelation 3:1a “And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven (hepta seven) Spirits (pneuma breath, spirit, Holy Spirit) of God (theos deity, the supreme Divinity, by Hebraism very, exceed, God), and the seven (hepta seven) stars (aster star);”

 

Revelation 4:5 “And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven (hepta seven) lamps (lampas lamp, light, torch) of fire (pur fire) burning (kaio to set onfire, kindle, light) before (enopion in the face of, before, in the presence) the throne (thronos a stately seat, throne, by implication power, a potentate), which (hos he ho who) are the seven (hepta seven) Spirits (pneuma breath, spirit, Holy Spirit) of God (theos deity, supreme Divinity; by Hebraism very, exceeding, God).”

 

Revelation 5:5-6 “And one of the elders (presbuteros older, elder) saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion (leon lion) of the tribe (phule clan, kindred, tribe) of Judah (Ioudas Judah), the Root (rhiza root) of David (Dabid David, that is king David), hath prevailed (nikao conquer, overcome,prevail, get the victory) to open (anoigo open up, open) the book (biblion a roll, book, scroll, writing), and to loose (luo to loosenfd) the seven (hepta seven) seals thereof (sphragis a stamp, seal).  And I beheld (eido to see, to know, look on, perceive, understood, be sure), and, lo, in the midst (mesos middle, among) of the throne (thronos throne, power, potentate, seat) and of the four (tessares tessara four) beasts (zoon a living thing, beast), and in the midst of (mesos middle, among) the elders (presbuteros older, senior, elder), stood (histemi to stand) a Lamb (arnion lamb) as it had been slain (aphazo to butcher in sacrifice, slaughter, slay), having seven (hepta seven) horns (keras a horn) and seven (hepta seven) eyes (apthalmos the eye), which are the seven (hepta seven) Spirits (pneuma breath, spirit, Holy Spirit) of God (theos deity, supreme Divinity, by Hebraism very, exceeding, God) sent forth (apostello to send out, send forth) into all (pas all, ever, the whole) the earth (ge the whole of the terrene globe, earth, world).”
