PRE-EMINENCE OF JESUS
 

Pre-eminence is Greek proteuo meaning to be first, holding the first place

  1. Matthew 6:22 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

  2. Romans 8:29 “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the first born among many brethren.”

  3. Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
