  3. YOM KIPPUR- Day of Atonement

  4. SUKKOT- Feast of Tabernacles (Commemorating the dwelling of the Israelites in booths in the wilderness)

  5. HANUKKAH- Feast of Lights (Victory of the Maccabees and re-dedication of the Temple)

  6. PURIM- Feast of Lots (Celebrates defeat of plot to destroy the Jews of Persia)

  7. PESACH- Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Deliverance of the Jewish people from Egypt)

  8. SHAVUOT- Feast of Pentecost (Feast of Weeks marking the giving of the Law at Mt. Sinai)
