JUDGING


 

anakrino = to judge strictly, afresh, to examine, investigate, question

diakrino = to judge thoroughly, to separate throughout, discern, to decide

hegeomai = to account, think, to lead the way; hence to lead before the mind

krino = to judge, to separate, select, choose, to determine, pronounce judgment

gnome mind, opinion, sentence

krites = a judge, critic

krisis = judgment

krima = judgment

bema = tribunal


 

  1. Matthew 7:1; Luke 6:37;Judge (krino)not, that ye be not judged (krino).”

  2. Matthew 7:2 “For with what judgment (krima) ye judge (krino), ye shall be judged (krino):”

  3. John 7:24Judge (krino) not according to the appearance, but judge(krino) righteous judgment (krisis).”

  4. John 12:48 “He that rejectedth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth (krino) him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge (krino) him in the last day.

  14. II Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment(bema) seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

  15. Colossians 2:16 “Let no man therefore judge(krino) you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days:”

  16. I Peter 4:17 “For the time is come that judgment(krima) must begin at the house of God; and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God”

  17. Revelation 20:12-13 “And I saw the dead, small and great, strand before God; and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged(krino) out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. They were judged(krino) every man according to their works.”
