Report on trip to England and Hungary

REPORT ON TRIP TO ENGLAND AND HUNGARY

February 15-26, 2001

Prayer support was requested from as many individuals and churches throughout the country as possible before leaving the USA.

Spiritual and physical attacks came from the enemy prior to my trip but the Lord gave the victory.

The Lord supernaturally protected Laurel and me while we were apart. Laurel told me over the telephone from London, “I am lonesome for you but not lonely because the Lord has been so near and protective of me.”

God supplied all our financial needs for the trip: Virginia saints, Winnsboro believers, Sulphur Springs Interdenominational Men’s Prayer Group, New Beginnings Baptist Church and Klondike Baptist Church.($1,412.50 contributions and $1,410.41 expenses and by the way, I gave the difference as a gratuity to the bus driver who took us to our parking lot so the Lord knew exactly how much we needed for this mission!)

Thursday(15^th): I had the joy of witnessing to an Hispanic shoe shine lady at the DFW Airport and prayed for her and Oscar, her husband . Tom Wells and I had several hours at DFW to share and prepare for the ministry to England and Hungary. (Tom Wells and I met via Tom Lamb from New Zealand which is another example of how God sovereignly connects His people).

Departed 6:00 PM Dallas time.

Friday(16^th): Arrived 8:00 AM London time.
Took the tunnel train (sad “glass eyed” passengers) to Foreign Missions Club in downtown London. Received an e-mail message from Florida that I was the proud grandfather of Bailee Kane Hubbell who was born while I was in flight over the Atlantic. Slept until 4:00 PM.(Praise God I had no jet-lag) We ate at a local English café (fish and chips). Andrew Chapman (prophet brother from England) and I had a special time of prayer that evening.

Saturday(17^th): Ate English breakfast at assigned tables at the FMC Met Urchie, Heather, Cloee and Mum (Hungarian & English) and spent all day with them encouraging them in the Lord. Returned to FMC via tunnel train. Special time of prayer with Andrew Chapman about November 2001 leadership “gathering”.

Sunday(18^th): Ate breakfast at the FMC at the WRONG table! Visited house gathering at Chigwell (Beresford Job) Urchie spent the night with us at the FMC for ministry.

Monday(19^th): Took two hour flight to Budapest, Hungary. Orthodox Jew sat next to me with his back to me at all times but he heard about a lot about Jesus because He is all Tom and I talked about on the plane trip! Stayed in Urchies home in Budapest that had a B&B on the first floor. Ministry to Urchie and his daughter Melody.

Tuesday(20^th): Went to Roman Mineral Baths. Ministered to Urchie

Wednesday(21^st): Roman Baths. Believers from Hungary, Romania and Slovakia came to our house in Budapest for ministry.

Thursday(22^nd): Ministered all day with Romanians. Believers from Hungarians, Romanians and Russians that evening.

Friday(23^rd): Roman Baths. Took two hour flight back to London and met a young Christian Romanian. Met and shared with a Christian African family on train back to FMC.

Saturday(24^th): English breakfast at FMC. Ministry to Heather at an English Christian Retreat. Had Pizza for dinner that night at local English Pizza.

Sunday(25^th): English breakfast at FMC with Christian ladies from Scotland and England and ministered with them in prayer. Worshipped with black Africans from Nigeria and Uganda at FMC for 3 ½ hours. Met and had fellowship with Nigerian prophetess. Ate lunch with British Christian lady in sitting room. Met Scottish Christian lady in sitting room and answered questions about our African worship service. Ministered with Urchie and Heather over fish and chips.

(Today was my baby son David’s 31^st Birthday)

Monday(26^th): Departed London at 9:00 AM.

Arrived DFW at 2:00 PM.

Crashed in bed in Winnsboro at 7:00 PM!
