BEARING BURDENS
BEAR YE ONE ANOTHER’S BURDENS – Galatians 6:2 “Bear ye one another’s burdens.”

EVERY MAN BEAR OWN BURDEN – Galatians 6:5 “For every man shall bear his own burden.”

own idios = pertaining to self, one’s own,
burden phortion = task, service, burden, heavy load; a
MY (JESUS) BURDEN IS LIGHT – Matthew 11:28-30 V28 “Come (deute = imperative - come here, follow) unto me (pros = forward to, toward, the side of, near; me = me (Jesus)), all ye (pas = all, any every, whole, whosoever) that labor (kopiao = to feel fatigue, to work hard, toil, be wearied; from kopto = beat breast in grief, lament, mourn, wail) and are heavy laden (phoritizo = to load up, overburden, ), and I (Jesus) will give you rest (anapauo = repose, refresh, take ease, refresh, rest).” V29 “Take (airo = to take up or away, bear, lift up, carry) my (Jesus) yoke (zugos = to join by a yoke, coupling, pair of balances) upon you (epi = relation of distribution, rest on), and learn of (manthano = understand, learn) me (Jesus); for I (Jesus) am meek (praus = gentle, humble, meek, mild) and lowly (tapeinos = depressed, humiliated, base, cast down, humble, of low degree, lowly) in heart (kardia = heart; from Latin cor: heart; mind, thoughts or feelings): and ye shall find (heurisko = to find, obtain, perceive, see) rest (anapausis = intermission, rest, to repose, refresh, take ease) unto your souls (psuche = breath, spirit, immortal soul, life, mind).” V30 “For my (Jesus) yoke (same as above) is easy (chrestos = useful, better, easy, good, gracious, kind), and my (Jesus) burden (phortion = freight, task, service, burden) is light (elaphros = light, easy, smaller, less).” |
