Acts 7:46-50 “Who (David) found favor before God, and

encampment, temple, body, tabernacle) for the God of Jacob. But

him an house (oikos = dwelling, home). Howbeit
the most High dwelleth not in temples (naos =

Matthew 21:42

Mark 13:1-2 “And as he (Jesus) went out of the temple,
one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of
stones and what buildings (oikodeme) are here!
And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great
buildings (oikodeme)? There shall not be left one
stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
I Corinthians 3:9 “For we are laborers together with god:
ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building (oikodeme).”
II Corinthians 5:1 “For we know that is our earthly
house (oikia = residence, an abode, home) of this
tabernacle (skenos = hut, temporary residence,

apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief

manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be
revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of

rear up, build thereon) he shall receive a reward. If any man’s
work shall beburned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall
be saved; yet so as by fire.”

Matthew 18:28, 17:1-9 (Mark 9:1-8) “Verily I say unto
you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste death,
till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. And after
six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and
bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, and was
transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and
his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared

for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a
bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the
cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they
fell on their face, and were sore afraid. And Jesus
came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. And
when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus
only. And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged
