OF THE SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY

 

Isaiah prophesied by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and Jesus perfectly fulfilled that prophecy in accomplishing total and complete redemption and total healing of man in all areas of life: Spirit, Soul and Body!

OLD TESTAMENT

Isaiah 61:1-3 (Isaiah’s prophecy concerning Jesus) “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.”

HEALING OF THE SPIRIT (God breathed, breath of life)

To proclaim liberty to the captives!

Preach deliverance to the captives!

Opening of the prison doors to them that are bound!

Garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness!

HEALING OF THE SOUL (Mind, Will and Emotion)

Bind up the broken hearted!

Heal the broken hearted!

Comfort all that mourn!

Oil of joy for mourning!

Give unto them beauty for ashes!

 

HEALING OF THE BODY (Physical)

Bruises bound up!

Set at liberty them that are bruised!

Recover of sight to the blind!
