SLEEP THAT IS PEACEFUL, RESTFUL AND TRANSFORMING

Exodus 33:14 “And He said, My presence (paniym the face, presence, countenance) shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest (nuach to rest, be at rest, dwell, stay, give comfort, quiet, remain, withdraw, settle down).”

I Kings 8:56 “Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest (mnuchah mnuchah)  unto his people, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised…”

Psalm 4:8I will both lay me down in peace (shalom shalom safe, well, health, happy, friend, friendly, peace, be at peace, favor, prosper), and sleep (yashen to make to sleep, sleep): for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell (yashab to remain, settle, continue, abide, dwell, habitation, tarry) in safety (betach place of refuge, safety, safe, secure, security, feeling of trust, assurance, confidence, hope).”

Psalm 37:7Rest (daman hold peace, cease, forbear, quiet self, rest, silence, stand still, tarry, wait) in the LORD (yhovah self-existent , eternal, Jehovah, Jewish national name of God, the Lord), and wait patiently (chul chiyl hope, rest, tarry, trust, wait) for Him:”

Proverbs 3:24When thou liest down (shakab to lie down, rest, take rest, to sleep, take sleep, still), thou shalt not be afraid (pachad startled, sudden, alarm, be afraid, stand in awe, fear, make to shake): yea, thou shalt lie down (same as above), and thy sleep (shenah shena sleep) shall be sweet (areb agreeable, pleasant, take pleasure, be sweet).”

Isaiah 26:3Thou wilt keep him (natsar to guard, protect, keep, watch over, preserve) in perfect peace (shalom shalom same as above), whose mind (mino mind, imagination) is stayed on Thee (samak to lean upon, take hold of, lean, lie hard, rest self, stay self, stand fast, sustain): because he trusteth in Thee (batach refuge, confident, sure, to trust, put trust, be bold, secure, make to hope).”

Isaiah 57:2He shall enter into peace (shalom shalom same as above): they shall rest in their beds (nuach to rest, settle down, to dwell, stay, withdraw, give comfort, quiet, remain; mishkab a bed, bed chamber, couch), each one walking in his uprightness (halak to follow, enter, forwarded, grow, move, march, run, travel, walk; nakokh straight forward, correct, integrity, right, uprightness).”

Jeremiah 31:26 “Upon this I awaked, and beheld: and my sleep (shenah shena sleep) was sweet unto me (areb pleasant, pleasure, sweet).”

Zephaniah 3:17 “The LORD (yhovah same as above) thy God (elohiym the supreme God, great, mighty) in the midst of thee (qereb nearest, center, among, middle, midst) is mighty (gibbor  gibbor great, powerful, warrior, champion, strong valiant); He will save (yasha open wide, free, to be safe, rescue, bring salvation, victory), He will rejoice (sus siys glad, joy, rejoice greatly) over thee with joy (simehah glee, festive, festival, exceedingly, gladness, joy, fullness, rejoice); He will rest (charash to let alone, be quiet, rest, keep silence, be still) in His love (habah love), He will joy (simehah same as above) over thee with singing (rinnah shouting, joy, gladness, rejoicing, singing, triumph).”

Ephesians 5:26 “That He might sanctify (hagiazo to make holy, purify, consecrate, be holy, sanctify) and cleanse (katharizo to cleanse, clean, purge, purity) it with the washing of water (loutron a bath, washing; hudor hudatos water) by the word (rhema an utterance, word, command).”

Romans 12:1-2 “And be not conformed (suschematizo to fashion alike, according to, conform to, same pattern) to this world (aion an age, world): but be ye transformed (metamorphos transform, change, transfigure, metamorphose) by the renewing (anakainosis renovation, renewing) of your mind (mino nous intellect, mind, thoughts, feelings, will, understanding), that ye may prove (dokimazo to test, discern, examine, prove, approve, try) what is that good (agathos good, beneficial), and acceptable (euarestos fully agreeable, acceptable, well pleasing), and perfect (teleios complete, completeness, of full age), will of God (thelema choice, purpose, desire, pleasure, will; theos same as above).”

Matthew 11:28Come unto me, all ye that labor (kopizo feel fatigue, work hard, labor, be wearied) and are heavy laden (phortizo load up, over burden, be heavy laden), and I will give you rest (anapauo refresh, take ease, give rest).”

Matthew 11:29Take (ario to lift, take up or away, carry, lift up, remove) my yoke (cugos to join by a yoke, coupling) upon you (epi distribution, of rest), and learn of me (manthano to know, learn, understand); for I am meek (praos gentle, humble, meek) and lowly (tapeinos cast down, depressed, humiliated, base, humble, of low degree, lowly) in heart (kardia heart, thoughts or feelings, mind): and ye shall find rest (henisko to find, get, obtain, see, perceive; anapausis rest, recreate) unto your souls (psuche breath, mind, will, emotions).”

Mark 6:31 “And He said unto them, Come ye yourselves (deute imperative, to come hither, come, follow) apart (kata apart, aside) into a desert (eremos lonesome, waste, desert, desolate, solitary, wilderness) place (topos a spot, location), and rest a while (anabauo repose, refresh, take ease, take rest; oligos duration, briefly, little, short, small):”

II Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace (charis unmerited favor, gift, liberality, graciousness) is sufficient (arkeo be content, be enough, sufficient): for thee for My strength (dunimis force, miraculous power, ability, abundance, mighty, powers, strength, wonderful work) is made perfect (teleioo to complete, accomplish, consummate, concentrate, finish) in weakness (astheneia feebleness, frailty, infirmity, weakness, sickness, disease).  Most gladly (hedista with great pleasure, most gladly, most gladly) therefore will I rather (mallion more, in a greater degree, more and more, much the more) glory (kauchaomai boast, glory, joy, rejoice) in my infirmities (astheneia same as above), that the power (dunimus force, miraculous power, ability, abundance, might, mighty, strength) of Christ (caristos anointed one, Messiah, Jesus the Christ) may rest upon me (episkenoo to tent upon, abide with, rest upon).”

Hebrews 4:3 “For we which have believed (pisteuo to have faith, entrust, believe, commit, to trust,put trust in or with) do enter into rest (eiserchomai to enter, enter in, go in), as He said, As I have sworn () in my wrath (), if they shall enter (eiserchomai same as above) into My rest (katapausis abode, reposing down, rest): although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.”

Hebrews 4:9There remaineth (apoleipo to leave behind, remaining, remain, leave) therefore a rest (Sabbatismos a Sabbatism, repose, rest) to the people of God (Theos, Diety, Supreme Divinity, Hebraism: very exceeding God).”
