BIBLICAL PROPHECY OF THE END TIMES

Isaiah 60:1-2

“Arise and shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.”

Matthew 13:1-30

“And Jesus spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:  Some fell upon stony places where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:  And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered way.  And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:  But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.  Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not given.  For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.  For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard.

Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower: When anyone heareth the word of the Kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart.  This is he which received seed by the way side.  But he that received the seed into stony places, he is the same as he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;  Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.  He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.  But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, and some sixty, some thirty.  Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”

Psalm 2:1-12

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His Anointed, saying Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure.  Yet have I set My King upon My Holy Hill of Zion.  I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten Thee.  Ask of Me, and I shall give Thee the heathen for Thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy possession.  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.  Be wise now therefore, O ye kings, be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with tremblingKiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little.  Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.”

Psalm 83:1-12; 16-18 (83:1-18 Larger Passages)

“Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still O God.  For, lo thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.  They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.  They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.  For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

The tabernacles of Edom (descendants of Esau), and the Ishmaelites (born of Hagar); of Moab (Ruth the Moabitess), and the Hagarenes (Hagar); Gebal (Lebanon), and Ammon (Jordan, Descendants of Lot), Amalek (Descendants of Esau’s grandson Amalek); the Philistines (Migrants from the West; Goliath the Giant) with the inhabitants of Tyre (Coastal Harbor); Assur (Assyria) also is joined with them…Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession…Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.  Let them be confounded and troubled forever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:  That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the Most High over all the earth.”
